christine bruderlin

Christine has a degree and postgraduate degree in visual art. She has worked in many roles in the design and publishing industries, including eight years as production manager at an Indigenous publishing house in Alice Springs, and five years as founding owner of Newcastle's independent bookshop MacLean's Booksellers.

Christine is also a printmaker and illustrator who has been acquired by the National Gallery of Australia and the Museums and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.

mark maclean

Mark holds a degree in modern history and communication studies through Murdoch University, Western Australia, and was among the first group of editors to achieve the status of Accredited Editor (AE) through the Australian Institute of Professional Editors in 2008.

Mark managed IAD Press, the publishing arm of the Institute for Aboriginal Development, Alice Springs, for several years. In 1997 Mark and Christine established MacLean's Booksellers, Newcastle's premier independent bookshop.

Mark is a member of the Society of Editors (NSW) and the Australian Society of Authors and subscribes to Copyediting-L, the ultimate online list for editing issues.

Mark is also an author and blogger.
